Learn your way around loneliness. Make a map of it. Sit with it, for once in your life. Welcome to the human experience. But never again use another person’s body or emotions as a scratching post for your own unfulfilled yearnings.

let’s do something about it.

It’s so easy to talk, yet so hard to act. We often say “actions speak louder than words” but that’s only true because acting upon a thought is a lot harder than thinking it. But if you really think about it, you realize you’re the only one holding yourself back from acting upon your thoughts. Is it human nature for us to put limitations on what we can do? It’s like if you think something and this something is amazing and would make everything wonderful, you just can’t do it because it’s too good to be true. And that’s another concept that annoys me, the “too good to be true” concept. If it’s that good then embrace it! Don’t doubt it! I often try to make my thoughts reality and then I decide that I can’t, just because. Like, if my mind can think it can I not act upon that thought? Yes. But why not? Screw self doubt. If you want to change something, DO something about it. Don’t wait to see if someone else will do it before you. Don’t wait for someone to tell you how they feel… tell them first. If you hate drama, stop talking shit. It’s a simple concept, but for some reason it’s a hard one to grasp… but maybe the words are just the first step. So let there be a second… let there be action.

lalala yes I am aware that I’m being a hypocrite to the tenth degree.

I will not allow society or critics to dictate my beauty. I, myself, will tell you what is beautiful about me. Every person defines their own beauty for themselves. Do not rely on society to tell you what makes you valuable.

For what it’s worth: it’s never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.

Being kind.
Being kind is a way of living that keeps giving long after the kind thoughts, words, and actions have taken place. Kindness is a force without force, and it goes well beyond manners to the very heart of how people respect and treat one another.
Being kind is a vital way of making our own lives, and the lives of others, meaningful. Being kind allows us to communicate better with others, to be more self-compassionate, and to be a positive force in other people’s lives. Kindness has its true source deep within you, and while some people are innately kind, it’s something that everyone can cultivate by choice.
